Our Founders
Ria Soni
Co-founder
Ria is a second year medical student in New York City. She co-founded Project Stree because she firmly believes that allowing women to take charge of their own health is the key to uplifting them. In her free time, Ria loves experimenting with coffee, trying new recipes, and reading fiction novels.

Ambassador
Prapti is a Health Sciences student at Northeastern University. She is dedicated to serving her community through activities on campus, volunteering at the hospital, and her involvement with Project Stree. Prapti enjoys spending time with family and friends, watching movies, playing board games, painting, baking, and dancing.

Khushi Patel
Ambassador Coordinator
Khushi is a pre-medical student at Rutgers University, studying Health Administration and Biology. Being part of Project Stree enables her to give back to the women who shaped her passion for women's health and support young girls in India in their fight against period poverty and stigma. She enjoys visiting art museums, relaxing in cozy cafes, chasing sunsets, and exploring hiking.

Workshop Coordinator
Shivani recently obtained her Bachelors in Physiotherapy in India. She is currently pursuing a Master's Degree Kinesiology at the University of Texas at Arlington. She joined Project Stree because she feels that menstrual hygiene education can positively impact womens' confidence. In her free time, she likes to paint and dance. Her favorite dance form is of course, garba!

Krish is a student at Brandeis University, pursuing a degree in Neuroscience and Anthropology on a premed track. She joined Project Stree to support open discussions about menstrual health and foster a supportive community for women. Outside of her studies, she enjoys exploring new music, reading, and taking naps.

Nikhita graduated from American University in Washington, D.C. with a major in International Studies and minors in Public Health and Spanish. She is passionate about nonprofit and advocacy work, aiming to fight for health equality and equity worldwide through her involvement with Project Stree. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, having movie nights with friends, attending concerts, and traveling.

She is driven by a commitment to service and advocacy and is passionate about providing menstrual health education and resources to every girl. In her free time, she enjoys unwinding with her family, going for runs, and reading with a cup of tea.

Jui is an architect and master's student in Sustainable Design at Thomas Jefferson University. She joined Project Stree to support menstrual health awareness, gender equity, and women's empowerment. In her free time, Jui enjoys exploring cafes, capturing sunsets, and reading books.

Purti is a UI/UX Designer at cove.tool, passionate about using technology and design to create a positive impact. She joined Project Stree to contribute her skills in user experience, design, data.

Juhi Patel
Co-founder
Juhi currently works at Boston Children's Hospital. She co-founded Project Stree because of her own experiences dealing with the menstrual stigma while growing up in India. When she's not managing clinical grants, she likes to get in touch with her artistic side through dance, photography, and painting.
